Established in 1989 and declared the County Park in 2007, Santaishan Park was created the National Forest Park around Guidong City with 219 thousand mu of area. The existing total area is 2064.9 hectares, located in the southeast of Oujiang Town of Guidong County, northwest to the town, south to the Zengkou Town and northeast to Oujiang Town.

The wild animal and plant resources are rich in the park, different vegetation types staggered distribution, and the biological landscape is not only typical, rare and system integrity, but also has the diversity type, rich seasonal aspect and aesthetic vision with high ornamental value and scientific research value; the park with mild climate and high content of negative ion air has many features similar to the "south subtropical climate", enjoying the "Jiangnan Spring City", "Summer leisure city", "Hanging garden", "Natural oxygen city" and other good reputation. It was identified as the highest content of negative oxygen ions County by Shanghai Great World Guinness Headquarters in July 2012, which was published in the network and issued the certificate. The highest content of negative oxygen ions in the park is up to 150 thousand per cubic centimeter, which is an ideal place for leisure.

The park consists of 3 scenic spots of Santaishan, Jiangshan and Niulang mountain scenic area, investment of 150 million yuan and becomes the ideal place for tourism, leisure, fitness, science and education and health through scientific planning and construction, in which the Santaishan Scenic Area was assessed as a national AAA scenic spots n 2011. The park is rich in attractions, strong red culture and ornamental attractions, including biological landscapes of Guanyin Spring, Bamboo Garden, Qisonghu Tower and son on; cultural landscapes of Breeze Pavilion, the Tomb of Robert, Wenfeng Tower, Qiyue Pavilion, Santaishan Stone Monument, Lianxi University Site, Santaishan Temple, Weaver Lake, Cultural Road. Guogong tomb, Red Army battlefield and so on.

The traffic in the park is convenient and there is Yue Ru high-speed passing from the south. In recent years, the tourism service industry has developed rapidly, including the Blue Sky Travel Agency, five-star farmhouse Muqiu Villa, four-star farmhouse Luyuan Villa, three-star farmhouse Pingshuige Local Restaurant and 100 family hotels; the tourism commodity is rich, including Liloroyal Tea, Hahaniu Meat, Rice Wine Pickled Pepper, bamboo shoots, beans, honey, flower seedlings and so on.

The establishment of Santaishan Park effectively promotes the tourism development of Guidong, boosts the development of service industry and achieved remarkable results in economic benefits, social benefits and ecological benefits after years of construction. The comprehensive score of landscape resources quality, environment quality and the conditions of development and utilization of Santaishan Forest Park is 35.8 points through the evaluation of the experts, in line with the two-grade Forest Park landscape qualification. The Santaishan Scenic Area was classified as the national AAA scenic spot in 2011.
