Yangshan Village belongs to Chenzhou City of Hunan Province, located in the north of Zhenghe Town Guiyang County, 18 km from Guiyang County, more than 30 km from Chenzhou urban district and forms the Golden Triangle in Tourism with Wanhua Rock and Yangtian Lake through the high grade highway and Chenyang Road. The village has 7 nature villages, 330 households and 1260 people, a total area of 5 square kilometers.

In November 2016, Yangshan Village was included in the 4th batch of Chinese traditional village publicity list by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of PRC.

The main attractions of Yangshan Village are the ancient houses, original secondary forest, ancient post road bridges, the Ming and Qing Dynasties tomb, Taiping ancient battlefield, alpine meadow, natural caves and other places. There are more than 60 ancient buildings in the village with rigorous housing structure, 5000 square meters and have great originality in the ventilation, lighting, drainage and fire protection processing; there are eaves wall painting and stone carvings, exquisite and elegant and it is rare to exist through hundreds of years without destroying.

Yangshan Village has built100 mu of pollution-free vegetable bases and 500 mu of orchards, and has explored a virtuous cycle of ecological agriculture of "Pig - Marsh – Fruit, Pig - Marsh - Vegetable" and the rural ecological Tourism to achieve annual output value of 10000 yuan in 2008.

The village has built a small ecological leisure square and 3 eco parks, installed 16 kinds of outdoor fitness equipment, built 18 garbage houses, set up 152 garbage boxes, built 10 bulletin billboards, planted 1500 fruit trees and 1750 square meters of turf. The village also has achieved the goal of hardening all roads, installed the cable TV for the villagers, built the sewers, reconnected the water supply, built the garbage tanks, installed the garbage bins, built the toilets with "Three format septic tanks", renovated 3 elderly activity centers and 4 farmers cultural science and technology centers, constructed the basketball courts, added the fitness equipment, set up the Village Council and made regulations, long-term management and health cleaning system.

The village fully created the village-level organization activities "five homes" construction (That are party members, left-behind children care home, women's health home, convenience service home and the elderly activities home). Yangshan Village was identified as the new rural construction demonstration village in Guiyang County in 2006 and identified as the new rural construction model village in Chenzhou by the Chenzhou municipal government in 2007. The rural clean engineering was accepted for quality engineering by the Provincial Department of Agriculture and the Provincial Department of Finance.
