Jiahe County focused on the construction goals of "flourishing village, beautiful scenery, united people", adhered to the planning lead and planning ahead, strived to improve the village environment, green landscape and improve public facilities, fully developed the industries, humanities, mountains and rivers and other unique resources of the villages and towns in accordance with the "one village one product, one town one characteristic", constantly strengthened the investment and demonstration guidance, and accelerated the construction of beautiful countryside to improve the rural living environment.

Up to now, the county has successfully created the provincial beautiful Yinxi Village in Zhuquan Town, the Shijiaotang Village in Puman Town and other 5 municipal beautiful villages. The Xinglang and Tangcun Towns have built the garbage transfer stations and the county administrative villages have established the cleaning teams to greatly improve the village appearance and living environment.
