Dawangzhai Village, located in the west of Zixing City has convenient transportation, adjacent to the Feitian Mountain Scenic Area, Chenyong Avenue and Ziwu Road passing through; Dongjiang, Cuijiang and Bianjiang surrounded. Dawangzhai Village was merged from the original Dawangzhai Village and Yaoshang Village in May 2016 with 27 administer villager groups, 826 households and 2943 people, of which a total of 4 villagers group, 219 households and 638 people in Liaojia Bay.

The land area is 28.6 square kilometers, of which Shantang Reservoir of 200 hectares. It was designated as the "100 village" demonstration village of first balance urban and rural development in Zixing City in 2014, was named the beautiful village in Chenzhou in 2015 and was designated as a beautiful rural construction demonstration zone in 2017.

In recent years, under the concern and support of municipal Party committee and government, guidance of City Planning Office, and helping of the leaders and municipal committee work team in the Tangdong Street Office, the government has carefully organized, scientifically designed, precisely positioned, and vigorously implemented the construction of beautiful rural demonstration zone in Dawangzhai Village. The 186 households and 50 buildings have been planned to build in the Liaojia Bay and other 3 places, and 183 households has been completed and 3 households have been under the construction up to now.
