It was reported that 31 buildings with about 8051square meters areas were demolished together in the planned Gem Industrial Park which was handled by Chenzhou High-tech Zone. 6 of the 31 buildings with 1764square meters were illegal buildings. The demolish work highly promoted the preliminary work for the park.

It was introduced that Chenzhou High-tech Zone has signed the 8-billion-yuan strategic framework agreement with Shenzhen Amer (Group) Co., Ltd. It was aimed to promote the transformation and upgrading of the non-ferrous metals industry, and forge the core zone for the development of Hunan gem industry & marked area for the industrialization and internationalization of China gem industry.

According to the plan, the park is covered with 2900mu lands, 3million square meters of which are for the overall floorage. Concerned for the first phase, 1200mu lands will be collected and 256 buildings will be demolished. 0.28-million-square meters standard workshops and 5 roads as Jinxin road, Yanjiang road, and etc. were planned to be launched within 2016.
