It was learned from 2016 investment attraction conference of Chenzhou Economic Development Zone that 11 projects concerned about energy conservation and environmental protection, jewelry, electricity and electrical, electronic information, medical and food, e-commerce, and etc. were signed on site, covering 2 billion yuan investments.

The programming areas for Chenzhou Economic Development Zone were 68.83sqaure kilometers, 13 of which have been finished. Some advantageous leading industries as machinery manufacturing, auto & parts manufacturing, medical and food, electronic information, and etc. have been taken initial shape in the zone, while some special industries as e-commerce, culture creativity, and etc. are being cultivated there. Currently, there are 143 industrial enterprises available in the zone, 41 of which are above scale ones and 13 are high-tech one. The total technology and trade revenue hit 50.9billion yuan in 2015 by the zone.

It was learned that some special Hunan provincial and Chenzhou municipal policies would be favored to the project. Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government would pay more supports on it and issue more favorable industrial supporting policies on industrial guiding funds, labor force, logistics and custom clearance, land, approval, and etc. to the enterprises.
