40,000 new employments were increased in Chenzhou city till the end of this July
It was learned from Chenzhou Human Resources and Social Security Bureau that though under the high pressure of economic downturn and sluggish growth of economy, Chenzhou city carried out positive employment policies which helped to grant the city with stable employment situation. Till early this July, 47,096 new employments were increased in Chenzhou city, including 14,349 re-employments of laid-off worker and 5563 re-employments for people with job hunting difficulties, accounting for 78.4%, 79.72%, and 79.47% of the annual task respectively.
It was introduced that in order to cope with the pressure of economic downturn, Chenzhou took active actions on obtaining 200million yuan special funds from central and Hunan provincial governments, which was mainly used on poverty alleviation areas. It also placed closer attention on the supervision work to ensure all the employment policies to be well implemented. More guaranteed loans were issued to entrepreneurship training and entrepreneurship, which helped to improve the registration of small and micro enterprises and employments. From the beginning of 2016, 14,303 new entrepreneurship entities were available in Chenzhou city, contributing 30,265 employments of urban and rural areas. Some public service events were carried out by Chenzhou city as well, which helped to provide more chances for people with job hunting difficulties, migrant workers, graduates, and etc. More than 263 job fairs were held by some public employment service institutions, which well matched the online job seeking.
It was also learned that in order to help the laid-off workers to get new job, more vocational trainings were carried out by the bureau, which benefited 35,000people, accounting for 66.08% of annual task.
