Shennong Vernal Equinox Medicine Day (GanFenshe) and the Forth Cole Flower Festival of Anren, China will be opened on March 20, 2012. Three key points of this festival will attract your eyes and impress you with unique experience by visiting here.

Cole Flowers and Danxia Stones

Can you imagine the scenery that vinous stones with yellow cole flowers? How beautiful it will be? Spring of Anren will show you this perfect picture. Now, 250,000 mu cole flowers bloom gradually and wait for your visits with the historical Danxia stones. It was learned from the Vice Director of Anren Propaganda Department that Anren expanded the cole flower planting area to 250,000 mu which are mainly distributed in Dukou, Paishan, Junshan and other villages. Generally speaking, cole flowers bloom in early of March every year. This year, the cole flowers seem to pander to catch this special medicine day and will bloom in the mid-to-late March. Danxia landform is another unique view of Anren County. Bare ridge, winding canyons, vinous stones and yellow cole flowers, all of which like a colorful painting placed on the land. To make more convenient for the visitors to enjoy the cole flowers blossom and Danxia sceneries, Anren county specially developed the "Danxia Scenery of Shennong Valley".

The Vernal Equinox Day is a special period for Anren people. AnrenShenong Vernal Equinox Medicine Day (GanFenshe)-an activity related to Yan Emperor and participated by all the Anren people will be held during the vernal equinox days every year from ancient times. Fete Shennong (Yan Emperor) and Chinese herbal medicine trade fair are parts of the activities. So besides the natural sceneries as cole flowers, you can also experience the local customs and habits there.
