Xiang Lili, deputy secretary of CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee presided over the 6th Directors' Meeting of Chenzhou Planning Commission on August 30. Other municipal leaders as Chen Shezhao, Zhang Chengcheng, secretary-general of Chenzhou Municipal People's Government Zhang Yangping also attended the meeting.
　　

The meeting deliberated and discussed five planning schemes including Chenzhou-Yongxing Avenue and partial restoration of Beihu Park.
　　

According to Mr. Xiang, since the construction of a town cluster (Chenzhou, Zixing, Guiyang- Chenzhou, Yongxing, Yizhang) is greatly highlightedin the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan"  (2011-2015), measures must be tailored to suit local conditions to avoid wastage and damage of the current traffic facilities.
　　

Deputy Secretary Xiang commented on on the over-commercialized development of Beihu Park, and highlighted safety, simplicity and operability of the plan. He expressed his opinion that active work is required to coordinate urban and rural development. When planning, focus should be placed on development of the town cluster, attention  be paid to the coordination of  industrial zone (economic development zone) and city proper in order to form landscape and spotlight the characteristics of Chenzhou.
