The Chenzhou Municipal People's Government held a press conference on price regulation and supervision on August 30.

Wang Zhangbin, secretary of Party Leadership Group of the Chenzhou Municipal Price Bureau, introduced the market prices, measures of price regulation and supervision as well as the work in next stage, and answered questions raised by journalists. The press conference was presided over by Peng Hongguang, director of the Press Office of the Chenzhou Municipal People's Government.

Faced with the complex and severe price situation, the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee and the municipal government have placed much emphasis on guaranteeing the market supply and stabilizing the market price which concern Chenzhou's sound and rapid economic and social development and building a harmonious Chenzhou.

The city will continue to implement the measures formulated by the central government and Hunan Province so as to stabilize the price.
