Chenzhou Municipal Leaders Salutes Teachers Ahead of Teachers' Day

Chenzhou municipal leaders including Secretary of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee Dai Daojin and Mayor Xiang Lili sent festival greetings to the frontline teachers prior to the country's 27th Teachers' Day that falls on Sept. 10. They visited frontline teachers in some local schools, conducted inspection about school development there, and held discussions with educational workers.
Secretary Dai paid a visit to some core teachers at Xiangnan University, where he learned about the college's progress, and inquired about the existing difficulties and problems in boosting higher education.
Mayor Xiang first arrived at the south campus of the affiliated primary school of Xiangnan University and sent holiday benefit to the teachers. Then he and his delegation came to Chenzhou Technician College to examine how the school is running and learn about its obstacles to progress.
Deputy Secretary of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee Shu Guang visited and sent subsidies to destitute teachers in Yizhang County, and extended holiday greetings to all the teachers across the county.
