The preparatory meeting for the 4th Party Congress of Chenzhou City was held at the People's Hall of Chenzhou City on the afternoon of Sept. 27. Municipal leaders Dai Daojin gave a speech to Party representatives and Xiang Lili presided over the meeting.
   

This session of the Congress involves 420 representatives and 418 of which were present at the preparatory meeting. The report on preparatory work for the Congress was approved at the meeting.
   

Mr. Dai urged that all the deputies must have profound awareness of political responsibility and historic mission, attach great importance to the Congress, unify thinking, fulfill their tasks and duties, and strictly enforce disciplines to ensure the orderly and successful convening of the Congress.
