The Mobilization Meeting on Chenzhou's Urban and Rural Greening in Three Years was held in Rucheng County on Oct. 17. Chenzhou has vowed to strive towards achievement of the goal,of greening the urban and rural areas, during 2012 to 2014.

Dai Daojin and Xiang Lili, secretary and deputy secretary of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee respectively, delivered keynote speeches. Tang Miaosheng, deputy director of Hunan Provincial Department of Forestry, also attended the meeting.

Dai fully affirmed the work related to urban and rural greening in RuchengCounty. He urged to comprehensively carry out the afforestation of urban and rural areas and complete the tasks in an effective manner.

Xiang pointed out that priority and great importance should be given to urban and rural greening work, in a bid to turn Chenzhou into a "green and leisure" city.

Tang Miaosheng hailed the remarkable achievements Chenzhou City and Rucheng County have made in ecological construction.
