"Via the digital urban administration and monitoring system, the problems existing in urban public facilities can be found in time and measures be taken immediately to resolve them. In this way, the efficiency of urban administration will be greatly improved", said Yuan Mansheng, deputy director of the Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of City Administration and Law Enforcement.
At the end of November, 2011, the digital urban administration system will be put into use in Chenzhou City. Digital urban administration is an important symbol of urban modernization, and also an inexorable trend in the modernization of urban administration. In March this year, Chenzhou started to develop this system in three phases of construction, with the budget of the total investment reaching 68.144 million yuan. The Phase Ⅰ project covers the downtown area and includes nine basic subsystems and 11 extended subsystems.
