Vice Mayor of Chenzhou Lei Xiaoda together with related officials inspected the local coal and gas outburst mines with annual output less than 90,000 tons. The unqualified ones were to suspend operation for rectification.

The team conducted close inspection on Yuanjia Coal Mine and other five coal mines in Jiahe County. They spoke highly of the achievement Yuanjia Coal Mine has reaped in utilizing coal and gas to generate electricity. Meanwhile, suggestions were offered to improve the GPS for workers in the mine.

Mr. Lei stressed that the focus of this year is to further deepen the rectification and safety evaluation. He also urged to earnestly carry out the gas and outburst control in line with relevant policies.

The delegation also investigated Jiahe Bus Station in terms of its passenger transport security and allocation of school buses.
