Chenzhou delegation submitted 19 proposals to the tenth Hunan Provincial Congress of CPC. These proposals cover issues of strategic importance to Chenzhou's social and economic development as well as improvement of Party building.
   

Among these, the proposal on accelerating the construction of southern Hunan's demonstration zone for undertaking industrial transfer has drawn heated discussion from representatives.
   

Other vital issues emphasized by Chenzhou delegates include: unremitting efforts for the approval of Guilin-Yongzhou-Chenzhou-Ganzhou railway project--a traffic artery in the southwest China, participation in the construction of Sanjiangyuan functional ecological zone to enhance social awareness of ecological protection, invigoration of city's cultural industry and strengthening social administration.
