As the Tenth Hunan Provincial Congress of the CPC closed on Nov. 22 in Changsha, Chenzhou delegation convened a meeting to make arrangements for implementation of the guidelines presented in the congress and accomplishment of the current tasks.
The congress has set the targets of taking the lead in achieving prosperity in central China and blazing a new trail in the construction of "Two-Oriented" Society by enhancing efforts in these two sectors.
In response to these goals, endeavors will be stepped up to build Chenzhou into the most open city in the province and a core city in Hunan-Guangdong-Jiangxi region. No effort will be spared to keep pace with the province in the construction of "Two-Oriented" Society and catch up with Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan (CZT) City Cluster in realizing a well-off society in an all-round way, said Dai Daojin, secretary of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee. He also urged departments at all levels to attach greatest importance to ensure safety in production and social stability while finishing all the work scheduled for this year.
Xiang Lili, mayor of Chenzhou specifically arranged for the work to do at the end of the year. He said, driven by the guidelines, work in all sectors should be done satisfactorily with down-to-earth efforts to lay a solid foundation for the city's leap-forward development.
