On December 10, Chenzhou launched a four-year price regulation program to ensure marked price citywide and create brands with credible price.

The measures include setting up a price integrity mechanism and a filing system for enterprises, strengthening public supervision, and intensifying regulation and law enforcement to create a "fair, just and honest" price.

Executive Vice Mayor of Chenzhou Li Ping requested that all the producers and traders should strengthen self-discipline and fulfill the commitment on price. The relevant  authorities at all levels should intensify supervision and regulation over price. Businessmen who disobey price credibility and integrity and involve themselves in price-gouging, and price fraud cases exerting adverse social impacts should be dealt with seriously in line with laws and regulations.
