Press Conference for 2011 Charity Development of Chenzhou

 It was reported from the press conference for 2011 Charities Development of Chenzhou that Chenzhou Charity federation raised RMB 23.67 million in 2011, among which expensed RMB 7.04million. Those expenses benefited the poverty people with the number of more than 15000.

In 2011, Chenzhou Charity Federation carried out different ways as “one dollar donation everyday”, directional scholar and teaching fundraising, serious illness projects fundraising, poverty alleviation fundraising and other activities to raise the charity money. The money was used for serious illness relief; disabled and orphaned relief project, scholar and teaching assistance, elderly, children and women assistance project and etc which benefited 12000 people directly.

Chenzhou Charity Federation will emphasis on raising serious illness funds, promoting “one dollar donation everyday” project, and promoting series deliverance activities focal on the basis of serious illness relief in 2012. The charity federation will take forward to regulate the serious illness relief processes, temporary relief processes, and improve the relief quality and level to confirm the charity can arrive at the end of the people who really need help and encourage the healthy improvement for the charity undertakings.
