South Hunan Economy is one of the supporting points of Hunan economy development

The sixth session of People's Congress of Hunan province opened in Changsha on Jan 11th, 2012 . Zhouqiang, the Secretary of provincial party committee and director of provincial People's Congress standing committee, and other leaders attended the session. Xu Shousheng, the vice secretary of provincial party committee and provincial governor, addressed  first time in the “government report” that surround Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtang, south Hunan, and great west Huanna are the three key supporting points for Hunan province economy development.

In the work review part of government report, the government fully confirmed the achievement for the approving of South Hunan national undertaking transformation industry demonstration area. Also the seventh Hunan-Taiwan cooperation conference on economy & trade was highlighted in the report.

In the government report, it mentioned many big issues concerned about Chenzhou city’s development. Among the 10 aspects of government work needed to pay much more attention to, the first one “guarantee the better and faster development of economy”of the increase of resource supply mentioned  that actively splice butt to the central resources enterprises, speed up “gasification Hunan” project construction, improve the preparation to construct the coal reserve (transit) base with Shenhua group, the electricity and other relative industry projects.

South Hunan undertaking industry transformation demonstration area will be further valued and supported. It was mentioned in the report to speed up the development of South Hunan area, form undertaking industry transformation demonstration overall plan and different kinds profession planning, improve the guarantee ability for resources, information, customs declaration and others, promote the upgrade for current industrial parks, try to establish processing trade gathering area and transformation development test areas.

Chenzhou city still take the place of one of the main battlefields of the development in provincial poverty alleviation, environment protection, ecological construction, projects construction, new type of urbanization.
