One billion yuan investment was fulfilled for the strategic cooperation between Hunan non-ferrous group of China minmetals corporation from April, 2010. On June 7, Chenzhou government held the third high-rise joint conference with Hunan non-ferrous group to discuss their further cooperation. General Manager of Hunan non-ferrous group of China minmetals corporation- Cao Xiuyun, and QuHai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou city and other municipal leaders attended this conference.

Till now, there were ten billion yuan have been invested in the strategic cooperation projects and ten projects were achieved different levels of improvement.At the meeting, the two sides discussed specific issues existing in the project.

Through the strong cooperation, both sides will give full play to their advantages in terms of resources, capital, platform, management and talents, thus will rapidly expand the scale of non-ferrous industry, upgrade the industry structure, forge a world-level competitive non-ferrous group and promote Hunan to be a real powerful non-ferrous producer. Cao Xiuyun affirmed the achievements from the beginning of two parties’ cooperation. Cao stated that all the subordinate enterprises and projects directors should follow the agreement frames to carry out the projects and try best to reach the preset targets by communicating with local governments.Meanwhile, Cao asked for more support and better mechanism from the government to propel all the projects.

QuHai believed that this cooperation will become a “win-win” model and will open a new chapter in the history of China’s non-ferrous industry. He emphasized that both the two parties should keep confidence to boost the strategic cooperation and to set the model for the joint work between Chenzhou city and state-owned enterprises. Chenzhou government will take active actions to solve all the problems lingering on the way and will coordinate with the group to create a good construction environment. Moreover, Qu also asked the group to accelerate the construction speed and establish the propelling mechanism as Chenzhou government did to guarantee the smooth going of the projects.
