There were 284 enterprises submitting their technical research and development projects through Chenzhou technical project management platform till May 31, 2012, among which there were 19 significant special municipal level projects, 52 key projects, 172 ordinary projects. It hits historical record with this quantity.

The submission work of technology planning projects was carried out by Chenzhou Technology Bureau, which was followed by the arrangement of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government with the goal of establishing innovative city. It helped to increase Chenzhou innovation ability, develop high technology to improve traditional industry, and accelerate the transformation of technology to form a new industrialization style and cultivate advantage industry. After the approval of these submitted projects, the enterprises would be granted with municipal financial support, which was the best way of propelling the enterprises’ innovation and technical transformation.
