On June 4, accompanied by principals of Beihu district, Chenzhou economy development zone and municipal subordinate departments, Mao Tengfei- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee took an on-site survey on economy development zone’s development space. Some other municipal leaders such as Li Ping and Liu Zhijian participated in the survey.

It is the most urgent issue to solve the problems of economy development zone’s development space, development planning and mechanism to accelerate its improvement as the new platform of Chenzhou undertaking industrial transfer and new growth pole of Chenzhou economy. The leaders came to Shigaitang, Wanhuayan, Huatang, AoShang towns for the on-site survey. After that, a forum was held to discuss three planning solutions and new mechanism launched by Chenzhou planning bureau and Chenzhou economy development zone office.

In the forum, Mao Tengfei stated that it was urgent to speed up the improvement of Chenzhou economy development zone for meeting the demands of the construction of national south Hunan undertaking industrial transfer demonstration area and internationalization of modern new Chenzhou. Now, the key point for meeting these demands is to make better plan for the zone’s development space. It is perspective to guarantee the zone’s land demands in the following 20 years and guarantee the establishment of national modern and new Chenzhou within 20 years. It is also feasible to work on the basis of the zone’s economy foundation, construction cost and city development tendency, etc.. Chenzhou Economy and Information Committee and Chenzhou Planning Bureau should further consummate the solutions and submit to Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government for approval.

Mao Tengfei also emphasized that only good mechanism can arouse the energy and power to reach the improvement. Tax and finance mechanism, personnel mechanism, and administrative management mechanism of the economy development zone should be completed. Enthusiasm of Beihu district and the zone should be further mobilized for make the zone to be the industrial new center of Chenzhou and to be the important growth pole of Chenzhou development.
