Now, the main flooding season is coming, in order to make good preparation for flood control, PengShi'an inspected Guiyang's work on flood reservation, rescue and relief and watched drill of flood control and emergency evacuation held by militia and reserve forces of Zhouqiao unit in Xiaojiashan reservoir.

Since different situations may occur in the flood control site, four items such as navigation of steamboat, masses transformation, rescue in water, and large scale evacuation were itemsin this drill. 50 people from militia and reserve forces and 400 masses attended this drill.

It was learned that a detailed report with the knowledge and procedures of flood control was delivered to the cadres and secretaries of County Party Committee during their visit to this drill, which was greatly helpful for the leaders to improve their ability of handling these issues.

After watching the drill, PengShi'an fully affirmed the flood control work of Guiyang County. He also required that all the departments should further enhance the initiative and responsibility to get well prepared for emergent conditions, and the departments should upgrade the construction of emergency team to meet the demands when needed.
