Street Lamps in “Two- oriented” Demonstration Industrial Park of Wulipai

On May 9, 2012, the launching ceremony of “Ten City & Thousands Lamps” LED application pilot project was held in Wulipai, Suxian district, Chenzhou city. Xiang Lili- General Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee announced the start of ceremony. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Mayor addressed his speech in the ceremony.

It was learned that LED has the characteristics of high efficiency and low power consumption, friendly to the environment, good optical performance, long shelf life etc.. From 2012, on the basis of constructing “two- oriented”society and being listed into the second batch of “Ten Cities & Thousands Lamps” LED application pilot project demonstration city, Chenzhou strongly carried out “street lamp demonstration project, scenery lamp demonstration project, and courtyard (interior) lamp demonstration project” by combining with communications construction, industrial transfer, and city level upgrade activities. 8000 lamps with 95% of LED were installed on Chenzhou road (Suxian section), “two- oriented”society industrial park of Wulipai, Suxian district, Xihe beach park, Qingnian road, and villages streets like Tangxi, Qiaokou and Xujiadong while 3200 hanging lamps were installed in the villages along with Chenzhou road, which gained good economic, social and environmental effects on alleviating energy strain, promoting energy saving and emission reduction, upgrading city level and propelling LED industry development.
 

In the launching ceremony, Xiang Lili and Quhai attended the unveiling ceremony for LED application pilot demonstration project in“two- oriented”demonstration industrial park of Wulipai. Qu Hai stated that all departments should seize the chance and follow the requirements of “lighting up Chenzhou city”project issued by national ministries, Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou government to ensure the successful establishment of the pilot. Chenzhou should further accomplish LED industry development planning and give supportive policies to improve more key enterprises, forge an important LED application demonstration base of provincial and national level and propel the application of energy saving, industrial transfer promotion, new resources application and “two- oriented”society construction.

After the ceremony, representatives took a visit to LED application pilot demonstration project in“two- oriented”demonstration industrial park of Wulipai. When it was around 8:30 p.m., many citizens were taking walks there for its beautiful scenery, fresh air and bright light.

Chenzhou Municipal leaders- Mao Tengfei, Zhong Benqiang, Chen Shezhao, Liu Guangyue, Liao Yuegui. Zhang Aiguo, Zhou Yingchun, Zhang Yangping, Lei Xiaoda and Zhang Xihui participated in the ceremony.
