Chenzhou CPI up 2.5% in the First Quarter

It was learned from China's National Bureau of Statistics that Chenzhou CPI increased 2.5% in the first quarter, 1.3% lower than the national rate of 3.8%, and 0.4% lower than Hunan provincial rate of 2.9%. Seen from each month, Chenzhou CPI decreased gradually from January to March with the rate of 3.5%, 2.2%, and 1.8% separately.

 

In the first quarter, the index of eight consumer prices constituted the CPI presented the situation of "seven up, one drop" pattern: food, up 3.7%; clothing, up 3.1%; family equipment and maintenance services, up 2.6%; medical care and personal products, up 3.5%; transportation and correspondence, up 0.8%; entertainment, educational and cultural supplies and services, up 0.5%; living categories, up 2.2%; alcoholic drinks and tobacco category, drop of 0.5%.
