Hunan party history working conference & working experience exchanging conference was held in Chenzhou on March 30, 2012. Chenzhou city shared its working experience in the conference. Director of Central Party History Research Center- Ou'yang Song was invited to give the guidance. Member of Hunan Provincial Party Standing Committee and General Secretary of Hunan Provincial Party Committee Office-Yi Lianhong, and Vice Chairman of Hunan Provincial CPPCC- Wu Jihai attended the conference. Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee- Xiang Lili made his speech there. Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou city- Qu Hai was present at the meeting.

In recent years, as a key point to enhance the party construction, Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government created a good environment for party history working from different aspects, namely leadership, propaganda, education, policy, funds, facility construction, working team construction, etc.. With the hard work of all party history departments, former leaders and social communities, Chenzhou party history working made some outstanding achievements in history studies, politics, propaganda, and connection, especially in party history writing and publishing, party history exhibition center construction, and “Red Tourism and Education”, which were created with unique characteristics and kept the popularity and reputation of Chenzhou party history working increasing.

Ou'yang Song fully affirmed Hunan and Chenzhou's work of party history, and posted his hopes and suggestions to Hunan's party history work. Ou'yang stated that, all the party history working should make progress while ensuring stability, highlight party history study as the first job, guided by principal of party spirit and scientific practically and efficiently without any political problems; and should achieve improvements in service for party committee and government central work, basic task for political education, party history study, party history propaganda, party history working scientific level, and the working team.

Yi Lianhong pointed out the requirements for provincial party history working.

Xiang Lili addressed the speech in the conference that Chenzhou would learn and practice the conference spirit to enforce Chenzhou party history working and the connection working's sense of responsibility. Chenzhou would upgrade the party history working especially the party history study and propaganda to a higher level with the key point of “South Hunan Uprising”. Chenzhou would obtain more attention and support by its party history working, which would promote a sound and rapid economic development.
