It is learned from the leader team conference of Chenzhou’s development of charities on March 30, 2012, Chenzhou is to launch the activity of “One Yuan Donation Each Day” in this April. All the donations will be used as the serious illness relief funds for the poverty and social vulnerable people.

Followed by the principal of “legal organization, extensive mobilization and voluntary devotion, cadres and staffs from offices, schools, hospitals, troops, organizations and other units donate one yuan every day (365 yuan one year); besides, government departments and institutions give out one -day office expenses, and enterprises one- day profit. The whole city will be divided into 13 parts, each of which should appoint the subordinate departments’ principals and coordinators to establish the “One Yuan Donation Every Day” network.

It is also learned that all the donations will be submitted to Chenzhou Charity Federation office before June 30, 2012. During this period, a supervision team is to be established by Supervision Office of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, Chenzhou Government and Chenzhou Charity Federation office, which will take the full inspection on the implementation of the whole activity and ensure all the donation funds to be opened to the public, supervised by financial departments, audit & supervision departments and the society.

“One Yuan Donation Activity Every Day” was held in Chenzhou city hall office that afternoon and relevant leaders Qu Hai, Li Ping, Tang Guodong, and Zhang Xihui took part in it.
