The First Session of Forth Standing Committee of Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress was Held in Chenzhou

On February 29, 2012, the first session of  forth Standing Committee of Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress was held in Chenzhou. At the session, new government General Secretary, Chairman and Director of the Standing Committee were voted and appointed.

 

At the session, it endorsed the list of representative credentials committee of the forth Municipal People’s Congress standing members. It debriefed and deliberated “the Bill about the Submission of Li Wuyi and other Comrades' Posts” which addressed by Chenzhou city Mayor Quhai. It appointed Li Wuyi and other 31 principals of the People’s Government departments. The Chairman of Standing Committee of Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress—Zhong Benqiang issued the appointment letters to these 32 comrades.

 

This session required that during the resumption period, members of the Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress should insist the leadership of CCP and take responsibility to the people; the members should breed the job according to law and try to be effective; the members should improve themselves to set better example to the people.

 

At the session, it also debriefed the special lecture—“To be Familiar with the Business of Municipal People’s Congress and Improve the Resumption Ability” which was delivered by Duan Tailin— Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress Party Group member and ex-deputy Chairman. It studied “Policy of Personnel Appoint and Dismiss of Members of Standing Committee of Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress”.

 

Deputy Chairmen of Standing Committee of Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress—Li Xiping, Fan Zhongda, Li Shangde, Zhong Xiuping, Dou Xiangyan, Xie Yuanan, Zhang Yangping, and General Secretary of the committee—Xu Benhua attended the session. Guo Zhenghua—President of Chenzhou Intermediate People’s Court, and Wang Xunjue—Chief Procurator of Chenzhou People’s Procuratorate presented at the session.
