It was learned from the Major Projects Office, Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Government confirmed to carry out 73 major projects with total investment of 95.5 billion yuan in 2012，among which the annual planned investment will be 23.7 billion yuan to complete 20 projects.

Among the 73 major projects, there are 36 industrial development items with total investment up to 41.26 billion yuan and annual planned 7.7 billion yuan; 17 traffic infrastructure projects with total and annual planned investment of 40.98 billion yuan and 12.36 billion yuan respectively; 10 social development items with total investment of 6.03 billion yuan and annual planned 1.37 billion yuan; 2 tourism projects with total and annual planned investment of 1.51 billion and 0.31 billion yuan respectively; one agriculture industrialization item with total investment of 0.36 billion and annual planned 0.12 billion yuan.

Informed by related responsible officials, the journalist learned that in order to guarantee the development of all the major projects, corresponding service mechanism was established. The details of this mechanism are as follows: every relevant official of the office is in charge of one project or more, and should go to the construction spot to settle the problem for themselves. Till now, all the 73 projects are under good performance.
