On March 5, 2012, financial working conference of Chenzhou was held. It confirmed that the general financial revenue target of 2012 should be 18 billion yuan, among which the general budget revenue should reach over 11.4 billion. Both of the two are with a growth rate of 16%. Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee—Xiang Lili, Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou city—Qu Hai attended the conference and delivered their speeches as well.

Where does the 18 billion come from?

Chenzhou city ranked the first in its general financial revenue in Hunan province last year, achieving the best level of the history. In 2012, Chenzhou city will concentrate more than 60% industries to guiding the capital to help the development of major projects and key enterprises, all of which would help to improve the economy development and lay a solid financial foundation. 

What are the key points for the 18 billion yuan?

The key points for increasing the financial revenue steadily are huge industries, large enterprises and big parks.

Xiang Lili pointed out Chenzhou should focus more on the construction of main projects to realize the sustainable development.

QuHai said, the financial work should take the improvement of industrial transformation upgrading as the main direction.To guarantee a good beginning of three-year new working plan, huge industries, large enterprises and big parks are the focus of the working plan.
 

Where will the 18 billion yuan spend?

The total 18 billion will bring significant improvement for the lives of ordinary people.

From the financial working report, we can learn that the people’s well -being is still the key concern of the financial expenditure. Except the significant policy from Chenzhou government, there is no extra expenditure approved, only by doing this can the government guarantees more money for improving the well- being, social undertaking and “100 well-being projects”.
