It was learned from the 5th session of 10th CPPCC of Hunan On Jan 12, 2012, provincial CPPCC members in Chenzhou city offered many suggestions in the conference. Among which "suggestions on establishing Great South Hunan culture creative industry base in Chenzhou", "suggestions on named Dongjianghu river basin into the national ecological protection pilot in" and some other suggestions attract high attention from the provincial party committee and provincial government.

On Jan 8th, 2012, secretary of municipal CPPCC party committee—Liu Guangming, member of municipal party committee and vice mayor—Zhang Aiguo, vice mayor---Li Ting, municipal CPPCC vice president—Wang Dong, Zhou Hailing, Xiong Bo, municipal CPPCC ex-vice president—Li Yonghui and other 24 provincial CPPCC members in Chenzhou city went to attend this session, and some other members attend as a nonvoting delegate.

During this session, Provincial CPPCC members in Chenzhou city actively help to promote the development of Chenzhou economy and social development with the way of discussion and applying some proposals, and etc. Among which, there are 24pcs of personal proposal and jointly signed proposal submitted.
