The leader group of new industry promotion work held a conference on September 10, 2012 to deliver the conference sprit from Hunan province industrial economy growth maintaining conference and arrange Chenzhou economy work in the next step. Mao Tenfei- Deputy secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee attended the conference.

From January to July, Chenzhou city’s scale industry hit 39.08 billion yuan added value with an increase of 16.3%, which ranked second in Hunan province. Chenzhou kept the stable improvement on the scale industry development. For instance, 851 projects with more than 50 million yuan industrial fixed capital investment were launched in Chenzhou city, which fulfilled 24.51 billion yuan investments with an increase of 32.1% and ranked 6th in Hunan province; 60 industrial projects with 8.18 billion yuan investments were ended, which completed 68.9% of the whole planning; the industrial added value of 9 provincial industrial parks reached 14.25 billion yuan, which took up 36.5% of the whole value and with 27% growth compared with the same period,. Now the park played a more important function in promoting the economy development.

Mao stated though Chenzhou industrial economy presented a good situation, it was still facing some disadvantages like the insufficient demand, increasing cost of enterprises operation, decreasing price of key products, etc.. Therefore, it was still a hard task for Chenzhou people. Under the current complicated economy condition, Chenzhou government should take more positive actions to forge the local advantages and reach a fast economy development situation. All the departments should conquer all the difficulties in order to fulfill the annual target.

Chenzhou municipal leaders- Fan Zhongda, Shou Jianzhong, Lei Chunyong, Zhou Hailin were presented at the conference and listed their requirements of work for next step.
