Recently，after checking the on-site work of Chenzhou petition work, central supervision group of petition listened to the report of Chenzhou government petition. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou government hosted the conference.

The group visited Yongxing, Yizhang, Suxian, Beihu and other areas of Chenzhou city to check the details handled by Chenzhou government on the petition. According to relative data, there were 1400 people of 396 batches of petition accepted by Chenzhou municipal leaders, and 13593 people of 3562 batches of petition handled by the county government leaders in the first 8 months of 2012. As for the “Mayor hotline”, there were 30000 to 40000 calls answered with the settlement rate of 94.26% and satisfaction rate of 98%. More than 13000 petition issues have been settled by leaders in recent years while about 3182 cases were dealt by the 267 petition checking activities.

The group highly affirmed the petition work handled by Chenzhou government, and sincerely hope Chenzhou government can keep going under current good condition. The group required that departments at all levels should enhance the understanding and significance of petition work, solve the practical problems faced by people, strengthen the checking force to settle the cases, and accelerate the petition working team, etc..

Qu Hai stated on the conference that Chenzhou city is facing a new trend and new requirement under current situation. Chenzhou government will further enhance the petition work force, strengthen the petition working cadre construction, settle the earlier petition issues at the soonest time, and perfect the stable maintenance mechanism to implement relative responsibilities and ensure the social stability and harmony.
