2012-10-11

It was learned from the Human Resources and Social Security Department that “the temporary provisions of punishment for institution staff” was issued recently. It was clearly specified that the institution staffs would be punished if they broke professional ethics.

There are 6 behaviors listed in the temporary provisions as the ones to break professional ethics: illegal behaviors by using professional technologies and skills; academic dishonorable behaviors; illegal behaviors by using occupational identities, etc.. Once discovered with these behaviors, the staffs will be warned or recorded a demerit. If the situations are severe, staffs will be degraded or dismissed even fired.

Meanwhile, the behaviors which violate the public orders and social morals, manufacture or broadcast illegal goods and information, organize or participate eroticism issues, sell or take drugs, organize or attend gambles, break the family plans, abandon family members, refuse to undertake relative responsibilities, etc. will be punished as well.
Furthermore, the behaviors like breaking politics regulations, disciplines, malpractices, etc. will be also punished.

The principal of Human Resources and Social Security Department state that this provision can greatly help to regulate institution staffs’ behaviors and ensure their legal practices to provide better services for people.
