In late October, leaders and experts of Housing Ministry will visit Chenzhou city to instruct its work on the establishment of a national garden city. On October 17, 2012, an on-site conference of Chenzhou City Park and garden construction as well as mobilization conference of greeting was held in Chenzhou, which was mainly for the arrangement of the construction work of parks and gardens in the next step and the inspection greeting work.

Till now, 104 greening projects as for parks (gardens), squares, waysides, river banks, community squares, etc. have been fulfilled. 28 new greening projects for central city are carried out well, 12 of which has been finished so far. Meanwhile, 38 projects not finished were listed in the third session of city greening project to upgrade the improvement, perfect the infrastructure construction and enrich connotation.

According to the conference requirements, specified time schedules were listed for some responsible units. All units have to focus on completing the greening work in their working area, the retreating work of bared roads along the inspection lines, upgrading greening work of parks, squares, and gardens, etc. before October 20, 2012 with the purpose of presenting a new image for the inspection team.

Chenzhou municipal leaders Zhang Aiguo, Zhang Yangping and Zhang Chengcheng were presented at the conference and raised specified requirements on relative work.
