Three expressways- Xiarong, Hengwu and Yueru completed the annual investment with 5.032 billion yuan.

16 main road projects with 242kms out of 23 projects with 408kms in the twelfth- five- year plan has already launched.

It was learned from Chenzhou Transportation Bureau that from January to September, 7.461 billion yuan investment was completed on Chenzhou transportation construction, which ranked the top among other cities of Hunan province.

Till now, 5.032 billion yuan has been invested on the three express ways of Xiarong, Hengwu and Yueru of Chenzhou sections. The road surface projects of Xiangrong express way (Rucheng section) and Hengwu express way are at the final stage now, which are expected to be opened to the public at the end of this year. Extension projects of ten roads have fulfilled 240 million yuan investment on 163kms road surface construction. 16 main road projects with 242kms out of 23 projects with 408kms in the twelfth- five- year plan has already launched.4 projects for the Yongxing section, Suxian section, Zixing section and Chenzhou non-ferrous industrial park section of Chenyong road have completed 350 million yuan. 7 projects are busy in the preliminary work and planned to start at the end of 2012. Concerning the rural road construction, 414.89kms road pavement work has been finished, accounting for 123.85% of the annual target, which fulfilled Hunan “100 well-being projects” assessment task ahead of time. Furthermore, Chenzhou carried out the road channel greening project firstly in Hunan province. Now 4072.5kms channel greening work has been fulfilled.
