The 3rd scheduling conference of transportation project construction was held in Yongxing County, Chenzhou on October 19, 2012. Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee stressed on the conference that it was the top urgent project of “another three- year project” to handle out the traffic construction, so departments at all levels should fight hard in the 4th quarter for fulfilling all the tasks.

We suffer much now, but can gain more for the future generations.

From January to September, 7.463 billion yuan investment was accumulated on Chenzhou city’s traffic construction project, up 2.1%,among which 5.032 billion yuan was for highway construction, 240 million yuan for main road extension project of “the eleventh five-year plan”, 756 million yuan for main road project of “the twelfth five-year plan”, 240 million yuan for rural road construction, 350 million yuan for channel greening work, 225 million yuan for road decoration projects, and 620 million for some other projects.
Though Chenzhou city ranked the top place on the accomplished amount of transportation construction among other Hunan cities, it still suffered from some shortcomings like the backward preliminary stage of the project, slow progress of the project, hard work on land acquisition and resettlement, high pressure of capital collection.

Facing such kind of situation, Xiang said: “Although we suffered greatly under current situation, the future generations can benefit more. It is worth fighting for this work with more efforts.

Top level leaders undertake the top level project.

Considering the method to handle the transportation construction project, Xiang required that top level leaders of all departments should undertake some top level projects directly and go to the construction site to solve problems.

Xiang also emphasized that departments at all levels have to issue favorable polices for the efficiency of transportation construction projects. All the land acquisition and resettlement tasks should be fully completed. Counties at all levels should try their best to ensure the land acquisition work of new launching projects fulfilled before the end of this November.

Annual tasks need to be fully completed.

Xiang Lili stressed it on the conference that “the tasks set by Chenzhou municipal party committee and Chenzhou government on the three-year traffic construction project and 2012 traffic construction project should be fulfilled unswervingly.” Meanwhile, Xiang required that all the departments should try different ways to collect more investment, promote project construction scientifically, carry out competition among different projects, optimize construction conditions, and seize the chance of make good working plan of 2013.

As to the current work, Xiang also presented the arrangement and emphasized that the following five points should be well undertaken. First, keeping steady growth to complete the year’s targets; second, promoting harmony to create a stable and harmonious situation to greet the 18th Party’s Congress; third, guaranteeing security to prevent against all incidents; forth, working hard on greening project to carry out the afforestation and construction of “forest Chenzhou”; fifth, focusing on the change of government term to ensure it with good working style.

Li Ping- member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and First Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou read out the labor competition notice. Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou- Shou Jianzhong hosted the conference. Some municipal leaders He Wenjun, Peng Shian, Fan Zhongda and Lei Chunyong were presented at the conference.
