In the coming winter-spring period, Guiyang county of Chenzhou city would allocate 550 million yuan on water conservancy projects, like dangerous water reservoirs, rural drinking water safety work, retreatment of some middle and small size rivers, etc.. The retreatment of 50 dangerous reservoirs would help to solve the unsafe drinking water problems for 65,000 rural people.

In order to seize the favorable water conservancy beefing season chance, Guiyang County figured out the plan ahead of time and integrated capitals concerning the water conservancy projects to solve the narrow throat problem of capitals at last. Now, the retreatment of dangerous reservoirs is fully being carried out. The first batch of safe drinking water plans are expected to be fulfilled at the end of this December, which can facilitate 45,000 rural residents with safe drinking water.

In order to accelerate the conservancy projects in winter, Guiyang County enhanced its force on the optimization of project construction environment. A special conference for the winter conservancy issue was held on October 26, 2012 at this county, which was mainly for solving the problems occurring on the process of conservancy project construction.
