Teachers and students of Xiangnan University enthusiastically watched the opening ceremony of the 18th National Congress of CPC on November 8, 2012.

Teachers and students shared their opinions and comments on the activity room of school library, student dormitories, conference rooms of departments, and other places. Yang Xiaoling, who is the Minister of Publicity Ministry of Xiangnan University, said that as a college educator, she should carefully study and understand the spirit of the report on the conference and try to implement it on educating and researching to contribute the wisdom and strength on the cultivation of talents and development of education industry.

“It is extremely inspiring and encouraging after listening to the report delivered by Hu Jintao- General Secretary of the CPC. As a teacher and a young party member, I must carry out my duties and fulfill the promise in accordance with the report.” said by Li Jing- a young teacher of Xiangnan University.

“It is pointed out in comrade Hu Jintao’s report that the forward direction of the young students in the new era is to go to the place where they are best needed by the country and people. It has become the preferred target for many contemporary college students to have their personal future closely linked with destiny of the motherland and the happiness of people. ” said the sophomore Chen Jialin, “as a college student, I want to contribute more to the education of western areas in order to do something special to our motherland in return.”
