2012-11-13

Villagers of Heping village, Wangxian town, Suxian district, Chenzhou city stopped working in the farm, but went to the activity room of party members to watch the opening ceremony of 18th National Congress of CPC on November 8, 2012.

40 villagers with some cadres and party members gathered in the activity room. All of them applauded immediately at seeing the formal opening of the congress and sang the national song together with all the congress attendants. In the process of listening to General Secretary Hu Jintao’s report, villagers carefully made notes on some key points and he still can’t keep applauding on the highlights. Wu Wenxiong, who joined the Party 33 years ago, said that it was extremely excited to see the convening of 18th National Congress of CPC. With the favorable policies issued by the Party, Heping village has been improving in recent years, and he sincerely hope more sound policies can be issued to bring more benefits for rural areas and villagers. Wu Yuheng who was born in 1980s went to his hometown to start his own business after having been working outside for years. The key reason for his return was the Party’s preferential policies. Wu was confident that there would be more favorable policies available after the 18th National Congress to improve rural areas.
