Total investment-1.26 billion yuan, 36400 sets- has been started, 7300 sets- has been completed

It was learned from Chenzhou Housing Property Bureau that till November 27, 2012, 1.26 billion yuan funds had been paid for affordable housing projects, 140% of the 0.9 billion yuan annual plan, ranking first in Hunan province. 36400 affordable housing and shantytown reconstruction projects have started, among which 7300 have been already completed. 900 families were added on the list of affordable housing renting subsides. Both the quantity of starting project and finished project ranked second in Hunan province.

According to the statistics, 56600 housing needy families with low incomes and lowest incomes have been under the protection of Chenzhou city. Families, with the urban minimum living standard, medium and low income, new employment, migrant rural workers, etc. were covered within the range of affordable housing projects. In 2012, 8 affordable housing projects were implemented by Chenzhou Housing Property Bureau, 5 of which were continued projects. As for these 5 projects, except the Tongxingyuan project, 3 are still under construction while other projects have been already fulfilled. Besides, 3 new projects with 1020 sets are planned to start at the end of this November.
