The drafting group of “Interim Regulations of Trade Union Work” of All-China Federation of Trade Union investigated the trade union work of Chenzhou organs. On the working symposium held by Chenzhou Federation of Trade Unions, the inspector of primary-level organization construction department of All-China Federation of Trade Union- Yang Honglin and other attendants communicated and share their opinions with each other on the trade union work.

At the beginning of the symposium, Yang listed some key questions concerned for this investigation to the attendants, like “Should the trade union be managed in accordance with the party organization?” “How about the settings for current organs’ trade unions, like the quantity and organizational form?” “How about the leaderships are among the trade unions of subordinate organs, organs, enterprises and departments?” etc.. Yang hoped that all the attendants could share their opinions without any hesitation and tell the real condition about current trade union work and also hoped that they could presented some suggestions on the revision of “Interim Regulations of Trade Union Work”.

There are 1136 trade unions with 54244 members available in Chenzhou city, covering all the organs of Chenzhou government. In recent years, by carrying out different measures like enhancing the responsibility awareness, political awareness, and trade union awareness of presidents of trade unions, establishing the home of model, holding colorful activities, etc., the trade union work in Chenzhou achieved a great breakthrough, especially for the organs of trade unions.

On the conference, the attendants delivered detailed working reports on their specified work and answered Yang’s questions well. They generally considered that the lack of funds and staff, poor care of leaders, lack of operable regulations, and other problems were the key ones on the organs of trade unions work. Concerning the “Interim Regulations of Trade Union Work”, they also presented their detailed suggestions.

Dou Xiangyan- Deputy Director of Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress and Chairman of Chenzhou Federation of Trade Unions considered it was great helpful for the promotion of Chenzhou trade union work, especially for the work of the organs of trade unions through this investigation. The organs of trade unions are one of the key parts for trade unions' work, because most of the high quality members are in the organs. To carry out the work of trade unions well can not only help to get the support of the Party and government, but improve the recognition of trade unions as well, so this work must be paid high attention to.

At the end of the symposium, Yang pointed out that all the attendants had brilliant ideas and deep insights on the work of trade unions, and their suggestions were proved to be helpful. Yang highly affirmed Chenzhou Federation Trade Unions work.
