It was learned from Beihu district recently that the courageous and innovative spirit of Beihu district is vigorously expanded in order to accelerate the “two-oriented” city construction of the area. The central city level was significantly improving with a totally new image.

The developing strategy of“one district, three centers” was promoted well in Beihu district. 8 billion yuan was invested on 126 infrastructure construction projects. Beihu expansion section of Chenzhou Avenue was one of the 126 projects with about 970 million yuan investment.

In order to build a livable city with good business condition, “ten great targets” of city upgrading, “four big projects” of city renovation and four activities were boosted in Beihu district. The digital city management system with over 100 million yuan investment was established in Beihu district. The first phase of this project covers 6 streets of 37 kilometers with 31 high frequency cameras, 3 remote persuasion stations, 31 GPS positioning systems and 10 cameras on some public service equipments.

Meanwhile, the upgrading of parks and gardens was promoted in Beihu district; 5 parks of district level have been fully completed with some infrastructures and 8 gardens and 3 scenic forests were built in the district as well.

Furthermore, Beihu district deepened the reform of urban management and promoted the market-oriented operation. Some projects were carried out in the way government was in charge of procurement while projects were undertaken by marketization contract. The section responsibility contract pilot was executed on the road environmental sanitation while the introduction of professional parking management company and the implementation of market-oriented operation were made on parking construction and management. Along with the acceleration of “two-oriented” city construction, the influence, attraction and radiation strengths were enhanced in Beihu district, which greatly helped to attract more investment there.
