Chen Zhaoxiong- member of Hunan Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Deputy Governor of Hunan province led a team to take the annual assessment on implementing clean and honest administration of the Party, punishment promotion and corruption prevention. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee addressed a working report of Chenzhou on its party style construction. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou Government hosted the conference. Relative municipal leaders attended the assessment.

In 2012, Chenzhou government conscientiously implemented the party style construction accountability, actively promoted the punishment and prevention system and strongly carried out the working style rectification with the aim of boosting the sound and fast development for Chenzhou economy and society. The estimated GDP of Chenzhou is about 153 billion yuan, up 12.1% while the scaled industry added value can be up to 83 billion yuan, up 15.5%, and general financial revenue can reach 18 billion yuan, up 20%. 27 affirmative instructions concerned about Chenzhou government’s anti-corruption and discipline inspection were worked out by central, provincial, and municipal levels of leaders. 6 notice and experience sharing documents were issued to lower levels of governments. 8 reports were delivered on Hunan provincial conferences.

At the conference, Xiang pointed out Chenzhou government had achieved much on party style construction, but it was still far from the requirements of Hunan provincial party committee, Hunan government and citizens. Chenzhou government would keep following the spirit of 18th National Congress of CPC with suitable measures to carry out the party style construction scientifically and provide a strong support for Chenzhou’s leapfrog development.

Liu Dafang- member of Hunan Provincial Discipline Inspection Committee Standing Committee and a team leader of the assessment group pointed out that Chenzhou Discipline Inspection Committee tried its best to carry out the work innovatively and formed valuable working experience. The overall working awareness should be enhanced to implement the spirit of 18th National Congress of CPC; the responsibility awareness needs to be strengthened to fully promote the punishment system construction; the innovation awareness should be kept to boost the innovative work with higher levels and scientific levels, and what’s more, the awareness of unexpected development has to be established to accelerate the construction of inspection and supervision departments.

Chen Zhaoxiong summarized the anti-corruption work of Chenzhou government on the following five aspects: first, enhancing the implementation of responsibility; second, focusing on serving the overall situation; third, promoting reform and innovation; forth, adhering to promoting the work with overall plans; fifth, highlighting well-being issues.

Chen stressed that currently Chenzhou government should deepen the ideology awareness to work consciously, focus on the development to serve for overall situation, actively carry out reform and innovation to upgrade the working efficiency, fully promote the work to perfect the punishment and prevention system, highlight key tasks to solve problems carefully, and strengthen the organizational leadership to implement the working responsibility.
