The first plenary meeting of Chenzhou Urban & Rural Planning Committee was held to discuss the key planning work in 2013

The first plenary meeting of Chenzhou Urban & Rural Planning Committee was held on February 19, 2013. Some planning projects like Chenzigui-Chenyongyi town cluster, “landscape city”, etc. were confirmed as the key ones in 2013 to play fully advantages of Chenzhou city’s beautiful water sceneries. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou were present at the conference and delivered speeches there.

Actually, Chenzhou government worked hard to improve Chenzhou city to be international modern open city in 2012 with better planning work. The government keeps that way in 2013 and tries to build worldwide famous “landscape city”.

Xiang Lili raised four demands on Chenzhou city’s planning work after carefully listened to the attendants speeches. First, planning work should be kept as the key point work for all departments. Second, planning ideas should be improved with more international and modern concept to show Chenzhou city’s unique features and upgrade living condition. Third, key projects should be highlighted, such as the Chenzigui-Chenyongyi town cluster and “landscape city” project should be pay special attention to do it well. Fourth, strong enforcement should be placed on the planning work to ensure the good operation of planning projects.

Qu also listed some demands on the planning work in the meeting, such as planning work should be kept playing leading role in the city upgrading, all work should be carried out on the basis of people’s demand, more creative ideas and technologies should be introduced into the planning work, and stronger propaganda of planning projects should be implemented to ensure the better public awareness.
