On March 7, 2013, in the 2013 Chenzhou annual charitable distribution ceremony of special funds of destitute single female parent worker, 0.4 million yuan special funds were issued to the destitute single female parent workers by Chenzhou Charity Federation and Chenzhou Trade Unions Federation.

It was reported that this charitable distribution project was launched in 2011 by Chenzhou Charity Federation and Chenzhou Trade Unions Federation. Every year, 0.3-0.4 million yuan special funds will be released to one hundred destitute single female parent workers. Compared with last two years, there were 0.1 million yuan more funds issued for this project which helped more for the single female parent workers.

To select these destitute single female parents, Chenzhou Charity Federation and Chenzhou Trade Unions Federation followed strict processes to verify their details to ensure all funds are issued to the right people who really in need of this fund.

Dou Xiangyan- Deputy Director of Standing Committee of Chenzhou People’s Congress and President of Chenzhou Trade Unions Federation and Yi Peikang- President of Chenzhou Charity Federation released the distribution cards to the parents in the ceremony.
