Because of the poor condition of Dongjiang river banks, tourism and leisure of Zixing city was seriously affected and more potential hazards of water resources were about to happen in future. In order to improve the condition, Dongjiang river governance project was launched in 2012 with 321 million yuan planning investment. Though 121 million yuan were collected on time, there were still 200 million yuan financing funds gap for carrying out the project.

After learning such condition, Chenzhou Branch of Agricultural Development Bank followed the project actively with detailed marketing research and issued 200 million yuan water conservancy loan on the project which greatly helped to solve the capital problem hindered on the way of Dongjiang river’s further improvement.

It was introduced by the principal of this project financing that once the project finished, a new Dongjiang river with less water pollution, better flood control capacity and clearer water condition would be resumed for public.

In recent years, Chenzhou Branch of Agricultural Development Bank played an important role in supporting the “three rural issues”, especially on the projects as water conservancy, water pollution control, flood control, etc.. Till now, 958 million yuan water conservancy loans have been released by the bank on 11 key water conservancy projects.
