On March 13, 2013, 200 people gathered in Dabujiang village, Yongxing county to attend the afforestation activity there. Hundreds of trees were planted by them, which would help to protect the environment better.

According to local practical condition, Dabujiang village carried out its local afforestation plans, such as plant trees in the barring mountain of the village, afforest along the village roads and improve the water system greening work. Till now, 2000mu barring mountains have been covered with trees in Dabujiang village, which are 400mu more than the task set by Yongxing county government.
