“Chenzhou city should take top place in the construction of well-off society in Hunan province.” said Du Jiahao- Deputy Secretary of Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Director of Party Group of Hunan Government on his investigation trip to Chenzhou city on its economy and society development. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and and Qu Hai-Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou city accompanied Du with this investigation.

To fulfill “Chinese Dream” with martyrs’ will

It was the first time for Du Jiahao to visit Xiangnan Intifada Memorial Hall. As most of the citizen did on the Tome-sweeping Day, Du presented flowers in front of the martyr’s bronze to show his respect of them.

Followed the historic photos, revolution objects, and records, all the members of the visit team were sunk back into the days of that intifada. Du stated that as all the martyrs sacrificed their lives to realize their “Chinese Dream”. Compared with them, better condition now, all Chenzhou people should inherit the martyrs’will to further promote the reform and open up and realize the great rejuvenation.

To carry out a new round of development with Chenzhou experience

After planting an osmanthus tree in the “China forest”of Suxianling scenic spot, Du led the investigation team to visit Heping village of Suxian district. Du required that new rural construction should be promoted by government guidance, sound planning, enhanced land transfer, further investment attraction and other measures with the efforts of both government and peasants. Du visited a senior CPC member on his trip.

Du highly affirmed the achievements gained by some enterprises in Chenzhou export processing zone (Chenzhou high-tech industrial park) and Xihe Wetland Park. Du said there were many sound experience accumulated in Chenzhou city’s practice of “four modernization and two-oriented” strategy in recent years, which would be helpful for Chenzhou to carry out a new round of development.

To take top place in Hunan province on four aspects

With the advantages of natural resources and location and good relation between cadre and people, Chenzhou city can take top place on many aspects in Hunan province, which was stated by Du in the working briefing conference.

The following four aspects were the ones specified by Du: resource-based city transfer development, undertaking costal industry transfer, overall integration development of urban and rural areas, and environmental protection work on building “beautiful Hunan province”. All the four ones were focused on taking top place on construction of well-off society in Hunan province.

Some Hunan provincial leaders and Chenzhou municipal leaders attended the relative activities.
